TAMIYA MINI 4WD Intro Part 3

Salam & Good Evening uols!

It have been some time since we last post and update our blog. Busy with our daily schedule and some errands here & there. Sigh~!

However now we are talking about HOW TO ASSEMBLE YOUR NEW MINI 4WD MODEL

So basically, when we unbox the model kit that we bought, we will have such like this

So our model this time for sample is DASH 3 Shooting Star ( it have been my dream since primary school to have this..wawwawiwa!!)
And the tools that we need is :-

1) Screw driver set (this will be very helpful)
2) Side Cutter (Good for cutting & plucking out parts)
3) If you dont have item 1 and 2, this test pen and cutter also can be used
4) dont have all of the above, no worries guys.. Nail clipper is also very efficient..after you cut out or pluck, the components tend to have extra materials on it, then the use of your nail clipper's pilling to remove it..(the hard surface normally comes together with nail clipper)
5) dont have all of them mentioned???? cannot help any more laa...go buy

How to assemble? Just follow the given manual that looks like this. Please be reminded that all of the parts comes with Alphabetical Label, which you'll see inside the manual on which part need to be used.

                                                                        See, it's "D"                                      Example : A5,H1 parts

Go through it once, then get some ideas on how to do it and yeah, you are now ready to start!!

First and foremost !!
UNPACK EVERYTHING INTO THE GIVEN BOX (MAKE USE OF EVERYTHING)

How to start, from manual it will shows you the sticker part first. For me, it is better to save the best part, last. haha. Do the chassis assembly first. Just follow the manual, it is very straight forward.

Some tips :-
a) DON'T directly pluck out all the components or you'll find it difficult to trace it back. Just pluck in order following the manual instructions.
b) DON'T throw away directly the unwanted parts, keep it until completely assemble the model.
c) Use test pen or screw driver that have magnet, since you are dealing with small components such as spacer, washer and 2 mm screws.

As for Shooting Star, it is MS chassis, so here is some pictures of how the parts are assemble.

And so on then you'll be getting a result like this :-

So, this is how it is done....Selamat Beramal!!
